Why Confidence Matters More Than Grades in Primary School
A child who believes they can will almost always outpace a child who's been told they're 'behind'. Here's why confidence is the real long-term win.

Grades are snapshots. Confidence is the engine. Children who expect to struggle often stop trying; children who expect progress keep going when work gets sticky.
What builds belief
Small wins, specific praise (“you checked that twice”), and tasks pitched just within reach. Avoid comparing siblings or classmates.
1-to-1 tutoring helps because there is no audience and every explanation can match your child’s pace.
